What on earth does this ability to interact have anything to do with eLiterature, or even conventional literature, you may ask. The short answer is everything. Have you ever taking a bound, print book, read it from cover to cover, then discussed what you liked and disliked with the author and other readers in depth?
Statistical probability says no. While you may have better connections then I do, I have found that no book club, book signing, or pen pal system could ever compare to the world of internet interactions. If you so desired, you could set up a microphone to vocally interact, a web cam to visually interact, and of course your mouse and key board to circumnavigate the World Wide Web.
